Elektronikavfallet skickas till SER-\u00e5tervinning f\u00f6r att \u00e5tervinna material och bland annat plasten delas in i klara, f\u00e4rgade och h\u00e5rda plaster.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sortering av batterier och ackumulatorer:<\/strong> Batterier och ackumulatorer sorteras f\u00f6r hand efter deras kemiska sammans\u00e4ttning. Batterier och ackumulatorer s\u00e4tts p\u00e5 ett l\u00f6pande band och de anst\u00e4llda plockar ut alla andra batterier och ackumulatorer \u00e4n alkaliska batterier och knappbatterier ur materialet. Knappbatterierna sorteras sedan fr\u00e5n alkaliska batterier och de \u00e5terst\u00e5ende alkaliska batterierna v\u00e4gs automatiskt. Alkaliska batterier utg\u00f6r cirka 84 % av det mottagna materialet. De sorterade knappbatterierna transporteras till h\u00f6gtemperaturbehandling av farligt avfall. Mangan f\u00e4rgar den glatt rosa.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Litiumbatterier (Li-ion, Li-Pol), \u00e5tervinningsgrad 69 %:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Litiumbatterier ger fraktioner som inneh\u00e5ller 20\u201330 % kobolt och 15\u201320 % koppar, som levereras som f\u00f6rnybart r\u00e5material till industrin.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c5tervunnen <strong>kobolt<\/strong> kan anv\u00e4ndas som r\u00e5vara f\u00f6r nya batterier. Den kobolthaltiga svarta massan levereras till Jervois Finland Oy i Karleby, d\u00e4r ett av v\u00e4rldens st\u00f6rsta raffinaderier f\u00f6r kobolt finns. \u00c5tervinning av kobolt sparar inte bara energi utan \u00e4ven jungfrulig kobolt, vars brytning har f\u00f6rknippats med milj\u00f6- och m\u00e4nniskor\u00e4ttsproblem. Att f\u00e5 i kretsloppet den kobolt som inneh\u00e5lls av de litiumjonbatterier som nu tas ur bruk \u00e4r ocks\u00e5 kritiskt f\u00f6r att de batterir\u00e5varor som beh\u00f6vs f\u00f6r den gr\u00f6na \u00f6verg\u00e5ngen ska r\u00e4cka till. Kobolt \u00e4r p\u00e5 EU-niv\u00e5 listat som en av <a href=\"https:\/\/single-market-economy.ec.europa.eu\/sectors\/raw-materials\/areas-specific-interest\/critical-raw-materials_en\">de kritiska r\u00e5varorna<\/a> med stor ekonomisk betydelse och med risker f\u00f6rknippade med tillg\u00e5ngen.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c5tervunnen <strong>koppar<\/strong> kan utnyttjas i stor utstr\u00e4ckning inom till exempel elektronikindustrin, byggbranschen och i solpaneler. Genom att anv\u00e4nda \u00e5tervunnen koppar sparar man energi och naturresurser och minskar effektivt koldioxidutsl\u00e4ppen. Uppskattningsvis \u00e4r upp till <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kupari.com\/kupariteollisuus\/kierratys\/\">h\u00e4lften av den koppar som anv\u00e4nds i Europa redan idag \u00e5tervunnen<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>J\u00e4rnet<\/strong> som tillvaratagits fr\u00e5n st\u00e5lskalen levereras till st\u00e5lverken, d\u00e4r det sm\u00e4lts och levereras i \u00f6nskad form till de instanser som anv\u00e4nder st\u00e5l som r\u00e5material. St\u00e5let utnyttjas bl.a. i bilar, industrin och i huskonstruktioner. Genom att anv\u00e4nda \u00e5tervunnet st\u00e5l sparar man energi och naturresurser och minskar effektivt koldioxidutsl\u00e4ppen. Enligt en utredning som Recser l\u00e5tit g\u00f6ra \u00e4r klimatp\u00e5verkan av \u00e5tervunnet j\u00e4rn 85 procent mindre \u00e4n vid jungfrulig brytning.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Nickel-kadmiumbatterier (NiCd), \u00e5tervinningsgrad 66 %<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Ferronickel<\/strong>, vars inneh\u00e5ll i materialen i batterierna \u00e4r 50 %, \u00e5tervinns f\u00f6r att anv\u00e4ndas vid st\u00e5ltillverkning. Denna process sparar energi och minskar behovet av jungfruligt material.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nickel<\/strong> anv\u00e4nds till exempel vid tillverkning av rostfritt st\u00e5l. Anv\u00e4ndningen av \u00e5tervunnet nickel sparar energi (uppskattningsvis upp till 75 procent j\u00e4mf\u00f6rt med utvinning av jungfruligt material) och naturresurser och minskar effektivt koldioxidutsl\u00e4ppen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kadmium<\/strong> \u00e4r en tungmetall som \u00e4r skadlig f\u00f6r milj\u00f6 och h\u00e4lsa och d\u00e4rf\u00f6r har dess anv\u00e4ndning i batterier idag begr\u00e4nsats genom lagstiftning. Det finns dock i gamla elhandverktygsbatterier och i \u00e5tervinningsprocessen samlas kadmium in p\u00e5 ett s\u00e4kert s\u00e4tt.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nickelmetallhydridbatterier (NiMh), \u00e5tervinningsgrad 52 %:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Fr\u00e5n dessa batterier utvinns <strong>nickel<\/strong> och <strong>kobolt<\/strong>, som bland annat anv\u00e4nds vid tillverkning av rostfritt st\u00e5l och smarttelefonbatterier. \u00c4ven j\u00e4rnet i ackumulatorerna kan \u00e5tervinnas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nickel<\/strong> anv\u00e4nds till exempel vid tillverkning av rostfritt st\u00e5l. Anv\u00e4ndningen av \u00e5tervunnet nickel sparar energi (uppskattningsvis upp till 75 procent j\u00e4mf\u00f6rt med utvinning av jungfruligt material) och naturresurser och minskar effektivt koldioxidutsl\u00e4ppen.<\/p>\n<p>Nickel- och kobolthaltig kross tillverkad av nickelmetallhydridbatterier levereras till nickel- och koboltf\u00f6r\u00e4dlare.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Blyackumulatorer (Pb), \u00e5tervinningsgrad 71 %:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Blybatterier inneh\u00e5ller 65\u201390 % bly. \u00c5tervunnet <strong>bly<\/strong> anv\u00e4nds bl.a. vid tillverkning av nya blyackumulatorer. \u00c5tervinning av batterier sparar naturresurser, eftersom med \u00e5tervunnet bly kan man ers\u00e4tta jungfruliga r\u00e5varor och d\u00e4rmed minska milj\u00f6p\u00e5verkan fr\u00e5n gruvdrift. Utnyttjandet av \u00e5tervunnet bly minskar ocks\u00e5 utsl\u00e4ppen av v\u00e4xthusgaser fr\u00e5n blyproduktionen. Bly kan \u00e5tervinnas n\u00e4stan obegr\u00e4nsat, eftersom man i \u00e5tervinningsprocessen har gjort allt f\u00f6r att f\u00f6rhindra att dess kvalitet f\u00f6rs\u00e4mras. Bly \u00e4r en av de mest \u00e5tervunna metallerna.
