Upon registration, each producer is charged a one-off registration fee. The fee is €200–700 (+ VAT), depending on how many battery and accumulator classes are covered by the producer responsibility transfer to Recser Oy.

Recycling fees for batteries and accumulators placed on the market are determined by volumes and vary in accordance with their recyclability. Recycling fees are collected for all portable batteries and accumulators placed on the market, as well as for such industrial accumulators and lithium automotive accumulators that can be regarded as easily carried by hand.
An annual fee of €500 (+ VAT) for covering the administration costs caused by the reporting is collected from producers of large manually portable accumulators designed exclusively for industrial or professional use. No recycling fees are collected from producers of large industrial accumulators for accumulators placed on the market. Instead, the recycling fees are collected from the producer or, if so separately agreed, the end user when accumulators are returned for recycling.
The more producers take part in sharing the costs, the lower the fees. It is therefore important that no producer leaves its waste management costs for the others to pay.
